The most recent episode, broadcast on Friday (January 10), unveiled the newest Faithful chosen for elimination. This came after traitorous pair Linda and Minah deliberated over who to remove from the show in the previous episode following their unsuccessful attempt to persuade Anna to join their side. A tense Round-Table discussion saw contestants expressing suspicions and accusations. However, the traitors selected Livi for elimination, and they were noticeably absent from breakfast the next morning. This sudden development cast suspicion on Freddie, as many accused him of being responsible for the previous night's events. However, while most contestants expressed their shock, viewers were more focused on one contestant in particular, reports Wales Online . Viewers were convinced Linda's crying gave the game away (Image: BBC) Read More Traitor Linda, who had previously been close to Livi, exaggerated her grief over her friend's departure from the show. Viewers at home quickly took to social media to comment on this, with one saying: "Stop, Linda's terrible acting is so funny." Another agreed, stating, "Oh, Linda and her GCSE drama are coming out again." One viewer added, "Every time Linda "acts," I can't deal. Where's her Oscar?" However, in a post-breakfast interview, Linda admitted that she believed she had successfully fooled everyone into thinking she was a Faithful through her tearful display. Even her fellow Traitor, Minah, admitted that she couldn't fathom why Linda needed to cry in front of everyone, voicing concerns that her partner in mischief might have just blown their cover. Livi was the latest victim of The Traitors (Image: BBC) One viewer, bemused by Linda's reaction, commented on the situation, "Howling. Why does Linda always get it so wrong?" Meanwhile, Linda's performance did not convince another: "Shocking bit of acting there. She has thrown herself well and truly under the bus." Yet another fan drew parallels with a past participant's blunder, remarking, "Oh god, Linda is just Armani with less attitude but the same level of delusion about how she's doing." The Traitors continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer. Story Saved You can find this story in   My Bookmarks. Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right. Follow BristolLive
